Aftercare

Expect some swelling, tenderness or occasional bruising for a few days, particularly after lip filler. Avoid makeup on the treated area for 24 hours, and skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and sunbeds for 24 to 48 hours. Try not to press or massage the area unless directed. Amy provides written aftercare and a follow-up contact, so you always know how your healing should look.

Who this treatment may not suit

Dermal fillers are not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is an active skin infection or cold sore in the treatment area, or alongside certain medical conditions and medicines. If you have a big event coming up, allow at least two weeks for any swelling to settle. Suitability is always discussed at your consultation before any treatment is planned.
