The technique

Profhilo is placed using the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) technique: five specific injection points on each side of the face, chosen to maximise how the product spreads while avoiding key facial structures. The appointment itself is short, and the standard protocol is two sessions spaced four weeks apart, with maintenance roughly every six months afterwards.

Aftercare

The small raised bumps at each injection point usually settle within 24 hours as the product disperses. Avoid makeup for the rest of the day, and skip strenuous exercise, saunas and sunbeds for 24 to 48 hours. There is no other expected downtime, and most clients return straight to their normal routine.

Who this treatment may not suit
