What Are Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are regenerative injectable treatments based on purified, highly filtered DNA fragments. Rather than adding volume, they work at a cellular level: attracting and binding water deep within the tissue and stimulating fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin.

The polynucleotides used in aesthetic treatments are derived from purified fish DNA, filtered to a very high level so that only the beneficial DNA fragments remain. Aftercare

Expect small bumps or pinpoint marks at the injection sites for 24 to 48 hours, and occasionally light bruising, particularly around the eyes. Avoid makeup for the rest of the day, and skip strenuous exercise, saunas and sunbeds for 48 hours. Written aftercare is provided at your appointment.

Who this treatment may not suit

Because polynucleotides are derived from fish DNA, they are not suitable if you have a fish allergy. Treatment is also not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, where there is an active skin infection in the treatment area, or with certain medical conditions. All of this is discussed at your consultation before any treatment is planned.
