Understanding the treatment

Two treatments. One journey to better skin.

At The Nightingale Wellness Clinic in Ipswich, Amy offers two professional peel treatments: BioRePeel for progressive correction with minimal downtime, and The Perfect Peel, a medical-grade, medium-depth peel for a complete skin reset. Both are carefully selected to deliver real, visible results.

This treatment is delivered by Amy or Louise, our experienced skin and laser therapist.

Chemical peels work by loosening the bonds that hold old, damaged skin cells at the surface, prompting the skin to shed them and rebuild with fresher cells underneath. The depth of that renewal depends on the acids used: BioRePeel works progressively at the surface, while The Perfect Peel reaches deeper layers for more significant correction.

Peels suit a wide range of the skin concerns we see every week at our Ipswich clinic: breakouts and congestion, sun damage and pigmentation, uneven tone and the first signs of ageing. Because the two peels sit at different strengths, most people are better suited to one or the other, and a consultation decides which.

Treatment Details

BioRePeel: what it can treat

Acne and breakouts; pigmentation and sun damage; fine lines and ageing skin; uneven skin tone and texture; dull, tired complexion.

BioRePeel: how it works

BioRePeel combines exfoliation with biostimulation, encouraging the skin to renew itself while boosting collagen and elastin production. The result is smoother, clearer, healthier-looking skin with minimal downtime, so you can get on with your day. Suitable for all skin types and can be done year-round.

BioRePeel: pricing

Single session £70. Course of 2: £125. Course of 4: £220.

The Perfect Peel: what it can treat

Pigmentation and sun damage; melasma; acne and acne scarring; fine lines and ageing skin; uneven tone and texture; dull, tired complexion.

The Perfect Peel: how it works

The Perfect Peel is a medical-grade, medium-depth chemical peel that works beneath the surface to remove damaged skin cells and stimulate renewal. It uses a powerful combination of exfoliating acids and antioxidants, including glutathione, revealing fresher, brighter skin over the following days.

The Perfect Peel: pricing

Single treatment £150.

Aftercare

After BioRePeel, skin may be slightly pink for a few hours with little to no visible peeling. After The Perfect Peel, expect visible shedding from around day three, settling within about a week. In both cases: do not pick or pull peeling skin, moisturise as directed, avoid active skincare until fully healed, and wear SPF daily, as fresh skin is sensitive to the sun. Written aftercare is provided for your specific peel.

Who this treatment may not suit

Peels are postponed or avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding, where there is an active skin infection or cold sore, with certain medical conditions or medications (including recent use of some acne medicines), and on sunburnt or recently tanned skin. Your suitability, and which peel is right for you, is discussed at your consultation.

Questions, answered

Frequently Asked Questions

BioRePeel starts at £70 for a single session, with courses of two (£125) or four (£220) available. The Perfect Peel is £150 per treatment. Amy will recommend the right option for your skin at consultation.
Most clients feel warmth and tingling while the peel is applied, which settles quickly once the treatment is complete. Any sensitivity afterwards is usually mild.
With BioRePeel, visible peeling is minimal or absent, which is why it is popular before events. The Perfect Peel is a deeper treatment, and visible shedding over several days is a normal part of the process.
The Perfect Peel is designed as a single reset treatment. BioRePeel gives progressive results, so a course of two to four sessions is usually recommended. Your plan is agreed at consultation.
